Ayme Staffing is partnering with a global leader in aviation cargo handling, with opportunities available for experienced and motivated Senior Warehouse Team Members to join their team in Matraville.

About the Role

As a Senior Warehouse Team Member, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of cargo and warehouse operations. You'll lead by example, supporting team members on the floor while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency across all warehouse functions.

You'll also provide relief for Team Leaders and Supervisors when required and have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support warehouse staff in daily cargo operations
  • Operate forklifts and handle freight safely and efficiently
  • Assist with staff training, inductions, and performance reviews
  • Complete administrative and reporting duties as required
  • Liaise with airline representatives and internal/external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with airline, customs, quarantine, and safety procedures
  • Promote a positive, safety-focused workplace culture
  • Provide relief support for Team Leaders and Supervisors when needed

What You'll Bring

  • Forklift Licence (minimum 12 months operating experience)
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Eligibility to hold a valid ASIC (100 points of original ID required)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Full-time availability is highly regarded
  • Minimum 1-2 years warehouse and cargo handling experience is required
  • Minimum 6-12 months formal leadership or supervisory experience is required
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
