The ideal person for this role will be well organised and capable of handling multiple clients with concurrent deadlines with minimal supervision (we don't micro-manage).

We're looking for a detail-oriented person who loves numbers, working with multiple clients and gets a kick out of making everything balanced

The right person for our team will have current Xero experience and be available for a minimum of 20-25 hours per week up to full time.

This is a fully work from home role currently (with a view to move into in an office in the coming years in inner North Brisbane), with all computer equipment provided.

Responsibilities

  • Matching transactions in Xero with receipts/invoices provided by clients to Hubdoc
  • Reconciling accounts payable and receivable monthly
  • Processing payroll and super payments
  • Preparing Activity Statements
  • Preparing Taxable Payments Annual Reports

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Xero
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Certificate in Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts or related finance role
