The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver water, wastewater and recycled water treatment process design solutions for Aurecon's clients. You will be a key member of a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' through a combination of technical skills/experience and innovation.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':
- Work through engineering phases from investigations, conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design
- Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs
- Contribute to cost-efficient designs by applying innovative solutions and technological developments that bring greater value to our clients
- Work within study and project teams to meet scope requirements and ensure time and budget objectives are achieved
- Assist in the development of process simulations, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), design documents, including reports, and specifications
- Engage and build positive relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders, support business development and tenders to win and deliver work for Aurecon,
- Produce written reports, documents and presentations.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Experience in or a passion for water and wastewater treatment
- Knowledge of process engineering calculations, PFDs and P&IDs
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work constructively in a team environment, communicate effectively
