About the role

We are seeking a motivated lawyer with a minimum of two years post-admission experience to join our expanding practice. Ideally, you will have a background in litigation, with a strong interest in public and product liability.

In this role, you will act for leading Australian insurers, managing both litigated and un-litigated public liability claims involving personal injury and property damage. You will also advise on property damage recoveries for a major multinational insurer, and provide guidance on liability, quantum, policy coverage, dual insurance, and contractual indemnity issues across diverse sectors including construction and strata (commercial and residential).

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 2 years' PAE.
  • Experience in some or all the key practice areas of insurance litigation.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in court procedures.
