We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Casualty team in Sydney working with Julian McGrath and Laura Rush.

About the team and the work

  • The team provide advice on large and complex building and engineering claims, personal injury claims, product liability claims, construction risk, and third-party casualty claims more broadly.

  • They work with insureds and insurers across a range of industries, including construction, engineering, corrective and detention services, hospitality, schools and sports and leisure corporations and centres.

  • This is a varied practice that offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of complex and challenging matters.

  • You will be supported by a strong and well-respected team who mentor, have fun, and you will have access to Partners who truly invest in you and your career.

About you

  • You will 2-5 years' experience gained from a well-regarded insurance firm with experience managing defendant liability claims.

  • To be successful you will need excellent attention to detail, strong written and negotiation skills and excellent organisational ability.
