About the Role

Rydges North Sydney are seeking positive, friendly and hardworking kitchen professionals with a passion for food, abundance of creativity and making the day better. As part of our kitchen team, you will be given the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

  • Preparing and assisting ingredients for daily kitchen operations.

  • Maintaining a superior level of food service to guests.

  • Collaborating with other departments, and team members.

  • Compliance with the hotel's operational policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhering to Food Safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.

  • A commitment and dedication towards teamwork with a positive and 'can do' attitude.

  • Passion for upholding food presentation standards and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Flexible availability and the ability to work a range of weekdays, weeknights, public holidays and weekends.
