School Psychologist - Make a Real Impact

Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm | 5 Weeks Annual Leave

We're partnering with a progressive, independent school that supports young people who have disengaged from mainstream education. This is your chance to work with students with complex needs in a dynamic, inclusive environment where your expertise truly makes a difference.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct mental health assessments, counselling, and case management.
  • Develop individual support plans with risk assessments and safety strategies.
  • Provide crisis support and help students engage in education despite barriers.
  • Support staff with advice, resources, and program facilitation.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and external services for holistic care.
  • Work closely with leadership on child protection and welfare matters.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Psychology with AHPRA registration.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Experience in case management and working with at-risk youth.
  • Knowledge of school-based processes (NCCD, EAP) and child protection obligations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations calmly.
  • Understanding of the barriers faced by disadvantaged and culturally diverse students.
