Overview:
As a leader in global background screening services, HireRight is seeking a strategic and customer focused Product Manager to join our International product organization. In this role, you'll drive product innovation and execution across the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
As a product leader at HireRight, you'll be empowered to define the vision, shape the roadmap and champion the voice of the customer - all while working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment that values transparency, agility, and impact. This is a pivotal role within the International product team and will deliver strategic solutions that are tailored to the needs of the ANZ region.
Whilst collaborating with a globally distributed product development organization, you will establish close partnerships across the business to create, build, and deliver innovative and differentiated screening products from ideation to launch. You will deliver customer-focused products and services that mitigate risk for our clients, increase efficiency and speed up the time-to-hire for HireRight's customers. This is an exciting role for an innovative individual to drive our product strategy across the ANZ region, grow our market share and positively impact our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities based on market, customer, regulatory, and business needs
- Drive entire product lifecycle from ideation through development, launch, and go-to-market activities
- Creating epic and feature level requirements as well as user stories for agile delivery teams
- Practice data-informed decision-making and demonstrate deep understanding of critical business drivers and KPIs to help achieve product/market fit
- Establish a feedback loop with customers, users, and partners to understand their pain points and identify new products and services that meet their needs and exceed their expectations
- Identify new market opportunities, develop business cases, and present to senior leadership for sponsorship, budgeting, prioritization, and resourcing
- Collaborate with go-to-market and marketing teams on product positioning, packaging and pricing
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features and create actionable requirements
- Clearly communicate and build consensus with agile teams, stakeholders and leadership.
- Participates and contributes to marketing events, conferences and webinars and act as an evangelist and thought leader in the space
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, a related field, and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience defining, building, and launching successful B2B SaaS products
- Experience overseeing product strategy, roadmap, and requirements definition
- Experience leading and collaborating with large distributed and cross-functional teams
- Experience with product delivery from ideation through launch and go-to-market activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytics, reporting, visualization experience
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
- Customer-centric with deep empathy and understanding for customers and users
- Passionate about delivering great client and user experience (UX), and product design to help drive user engagement and customer satisfaction
- Highly "intrapreneurial" with strong ability to juggle between strategic, tactical, and operational responsibilities
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of and expertise in multiple product management disciplines and functional areas including:
- Product and go-to-market (GTM) strategy
- Market research and competitive analysis
- Pricing and merchandising strategy
- Customer engagement and monetization
- User experience (UX) and product design
- Prototyping, customer research, and usability testing
- Innovation and new product development
- Product roadmap and requirements definition
- Agile software development methods and practices
- Analytics, insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Business case development and build/buy/partner analysis
- Financial modeling and forecasting
- A/B testing and optimization
- Establishes strong collaborative relationships and partnerships with peers, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders across the business including:
- Engineering

- Marketing
- Account Management
- Customer Service
- Finance
- Legal
- Compliance
