Accounts Executive – Job Ad

We are a leading yacht brokerage specialising in the management and maintenance of high-end vessels with offices in both Perth and Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team at One Brokerage on a full-time basis.

This pivotal role provides essential support to our brokers and service team across all facets of the business, including sales, syndication, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of their work.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities include:

Manage all data entry and accounting in Xero, including accounts payable/receivable

Oversee payroll, including leave, superannuation, PAYG, and commission tracking

Coordinate monthly BAS, annual tax returns, and financial reporting

Produce monthly cashflow forecasts and profit/loss reports for Directors

Manage syndicate invoicing, berthing costs and pass onto customers

Maintain up-to-date syndicate agreements and berthing records

Support brokers with sales documentation and settlement processing

Process service department timesheets and allocation of hours

Assist Service Managers with warranty claims, parts orders, and service invoicing

Prepare monthly service reports for Directors

Skills and Experience

Advanced experience using Xero accounting system

Familiarity with Podio is valued, though not essential

Strong organisational and communication skills

Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships including ability to work and communicate in a team environment

Ability to recognise problems and take action where necessary

High level of attention to detail (make sure you tell us your favourite bay at Rottnest Island when applying for the role)

The successful applicant will be asked to provide a national police clearance prior to commencement of employment. We operate in the high end of the recreational boating market.
