The Opportunity
The purpose of the Diversity Recruitment Specialist is to build and maintain relationship with employers, ensuring employers are aware and open to hiring individuals with disabilities. As a Diversity Recruitment Specialist, you will focus on engaging with employers and identifying suitable job opportunities that match each participant's skills and goals.

Job type: Max-Term Full-time, 38 hours per week

Location: Inner West Sydney NSW (some travel may be required across the region)

Salary: $65,866 per annum + super and $18,650 in salary packaging + monthly RDOs

Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Connecting participants/clients to inclusive job opportunities through reverse marketing.
  • Conducting assessments of prospective workplaces ensuring accessibility and cultural safety of participants.
  • Facilitate job search workshops for groups using interactive methods, focusing on resume building, interview preparation and other employment readiness topics.
  • Support employers with accepting and processing wage subsidies within the timeframe.
  • Maintaining accurate records of participant interactions and compliance with all guidelines.
  • Provide continuous post-placement support to both employers and participants.
  • Meeting performance indicators by converting sale leads into placements

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in target based, fast paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with people across different cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-task
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Satisfactory background checks including Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements
  • Current driver's licence (minimum P2)
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance and Motor Vehicle Registration
