The Role

As our Information Management Technology (IMT) Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Council's digital transformation agenda by delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions that meet the short, medium, and long-term needs of the organisation. Working closely with business units, you will partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, streamline processes, and implement forward-thinking technologies that improve efficiency, enhance user experience, and build Council's digital capability.

This role is in the Information Management Technology Team, and their key functions cover website development, communication networks (voice and data), program development, corporate software solutions, records management, geographic information system (GIS) and general systems operations.

From managing business improvement initiatives and shaping Council's Digital Resource Management Plan, through to leading change management for system upgrades, this role offers the chance to make a real impact in how we deliver services to our community.

What We Are Looking For

  • Project management certification and/or relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Change Management or Digital transformation
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and/or manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven experience in identifying business and project requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in coordinating a business partnering program, including the ability to engage, influence, negotiate, obtain buy-in and agreement with various levels of stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of an effective, diverse, and accessible digital resource training program
  • Demonstrated business analytics and business process implementation
  • Demonstrated high level analytical thinking, problem solving skills and initiative, including ability to initiate and respond effectively to change
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and positively, engage and communicate with key technical and non-technical contacts across Council to deliver positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement which results in positive change
