About the role

We're looking for a dynamic Senior Associate, Policy and Strategy to help deliver on the NSW 24-Hour Economy Strategy, a bold initiative to create a vibrant, safe, and diverse night-time and visitor economy across NSW.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the design and implementation of policy and strategic projects that drive economic and cultural outcomes.
  • Manage projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Provide evidence-based insights, research, and advice to inform decision-making at senior executive and Ministerial levels.
  • Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from government agencies to industry groups and community partners.
  • Oversee procurement and contract management processes, ensuring value for money and compliance.

About you

You're a strategic thinker and problem solver who thrives in complex, fast paced environments. You're motivated by the opportunity to shape policies and projects that have a tangible impact on communities and industries across NSW.

The ideal candidate, should have the following:

  • High level project management experience, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to collaborate, negotiate, and manage relationships across diverse groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high quality briefs, reports, and advice for senior stakeholders.
  • The confidence to work through challenges, adapt quickly to change, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
