Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Associate located in or around Sydney, NSW. The Senior Associate will handle planning, environmental, and local government law matters, provide legal advice, prepare and review legal documents, and represent clients in court and tribunal proceedings. Responsibilities also include supervising juniors, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in planning, environmental, and local government law
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
  • Experience in litigation and court representation
  • Excellent client management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior associates
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in legal software and research tools (a MUST)
  • Admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)
