The AI Technical Project Lead will evaluate technical options, collaborate directly with developers to guide solution design and implementation, and ensure infrastructure, security, and responsible AI principles are embedded in delivery. The role will also work closely with the Innovation Manager and Senior Project Lead, Data Insights Lead, and the Developers.
Our Team
Justice Connect believes in a world in which legal support is within everyone's reach. In the face of rising levels of unmet legal need, our 2028 strategy sees us put people first, innovating to build our communities' skills, knowledge, and confidence, and grow access to legal support.
Our Innovation & Connections program sits at the intersection of justice and technology, creating new ways for people to access the right legal support. Through specialist intake, triage, outreach, and referrals, we combine digital systems with human-centred legal expertise to improve the experience of both getting and giving legal help.
We collaborate with lawyers and barristers to build platforms that are transforming how pro bono work is done, including our Pro Bono Portal, Firm Manager, and Justice Connect Answers. By designing scalable tools and strengthening the access to justice ecosystem, we're reimagining how legal support is delivered and experienced.

Desirable:

Working closely with developers and stakeholders, you will translate organisational needs into clear technical outcomes and support effective integration across core platforms. You will measure project impact, refine solutions based on evidence, and help teams adopt AI-enabled tools. In addition, you will also contribute to strategic discussions on emerging AI technologies and their potential to improve service efficiency and user experience.

- monitor delivery progress, troubleshoot risks or blockers, and ensure features meet the required quality standards.
- prepared updates for stakeholders and reviewing evidence or user feedback to refine upcoming work.
