Overview:

Our client is based in Canberra.

This role is for an initial 6 months, then is expected to extend for a further 12 months, so 18 months in all.

Work will be carried out as hybrid (WFH), with generally 3 days a week in their Canberra office.

To apply, you must be an Australian Citizen (and having a current Baseline security clearance is considered a plus).

This role will be based within the client's Change and Project Management Office, and will undertake research, discovery and analysis of business requirements, to scope, design and implement an online Program and Project Management and Reporting Tool (PPMRT).

Key duties and responsibilities


•  Review of current project management processes, frameworks and reporting;


•  Support the development of a Project Management Plan;


•  Development of a Business Requirements document;


•  Facilitate communications between technical and business stakeholders (this will include workshops, meetings, etc);


•  Review of a customized PPMRT utilized by another department, to assess adaptability.

Key skills required:

  • A minimum of 5 years as a business analyst;
  • Strong skills with technical writing (including requirements, process maps, procedures, etc);
  • Strong skills with regards to problem solving;
  • Strong skills with regards to stakeholder relationship building;
  • Experience in evaluating systems with regards to fit-for-purpose;
  • Experience with business modelling with regards to change programmes;
  • Sttrong experience with regards to business process improvement;
  • Hold some industry standard certification.
