2026 APAC Graduate Programme – Securities Services – Australia
Our two-year graduate programme has been designed to give you the support and development you need to start a successful career in financial services. You can join us in one of several business areas or support functions, and take on real responsibility from day one. Depending on your qualifications and experience, you can apply to join us as either an analyst or an associate.

Who can apply?
To be considered for the placement, you will:
Apply as a recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master's student in any disciplines
Possess GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline
Have to be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage)
Demonstrate methodical, logical, solution-driven initiatives, with commercial awareness and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends
What you can expect?
Induction
You will start off with a comprehensive induction, where you will be immersed in group training and discover more about the BNP Paribas Group.
Training
Then you will start your business specific technical and financial training, alongside personal skills development aimed at equipping you with the knowledge you need to get you the best possible start in your career. On-the-job training will be delivered throughout your two-year programme, taking you along a tailored development path to build your expertise and broaden your base of skills. You will also have the chance to experience other parts of the business through cross-entity projects, which will help you understand how we approach complex work and give you the chance to develop a strong internal network.
Mentor & Buddy
Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by experienced managers and team members, as well as pairing with a buddy from previous cohorts who will make sure you are getting everything you need to grow.
What you will do?
As a Client Development – Client Services graduate, you will:
Ensure proper maintenance of standard documentation and reporting base related to the Client Development organization and governance (Committees, KPIs, sales targets, etc.). Graduate will also be involved on memos/ presentations and communication deliverables when required, including support on transformational and transversal initiatives impacting the Greater China Client Development framework.
Over time, leveraging on graduate experience within Client Development, the graduate will be part of the CSM succession planning. Such a plan will (i) ensure adequate leverage over the location talent pool and (ii) prevent us from hiring outside of BNPP at much higher cost, hence generating savings for the franchise.
As a Client Delivery graduate, you will:
Handle on-boarding projects as well as transformation projects and proactively recommend improvements across all aspects of the operating model including redesigning organizational structure, operational efficiency and digital transformation
Define & manage project governance evidencing the roles and responsibilities of project's participants
Analyze with operations the process to be used / created to answer client requirements
Coordinate with relevant functions and operational teams to ensure the client has been set-up as per expectations, conducting relevant cross-Business Lines testing
Ensure a correct handover process at the end of the project
As a Client Lines – COO graduate, you will:
Supporting in (i) the definition of the 2S APAC strategy and (ii) proper articulation of the Client Lines governance (FI&C, AM/AO, Alternatives and Private Capital) to ensure full alignment of our positioning/ value proposition and transformation journey towards sustainable and profitable growth.
Helping to reinforce the Client Lines/ Product footprint within Greater China, focusing on implementing adequate governance framework and proper market watch for the Region.
Contributing to the implementation of the APAC Sustainable Finance strategy.
In particular, from a 2S APAC strategy & Client Line perspective, the responsibilities will encompass the following:
Perform client lines business management responsibilities: support governance, financial performance analysis and budgeting.
Support strategic reviews: 2030 Beyond Asset Servicing, location strategic review, client lines or product specific reviews
Collaborate with Head Office on 2S policies and procedures impacting APAC Client Lines
From a GC Product/ Client Lines perspective, he/ she:
Will help defining and monitoring the Product Go-To-Market strategy for Greater China through adequate "market watch": will analyze market trends, client dynamics, regulatory evolutions, and share conclusions with relevant stakeholders through adequate governance implementation. Finally, will be on the top of all topics related to China resilience.
Finally, support in rolling-out the Global 2S Sustainable Finance strategy within APAC includes:
Supporting the 2S APAC Head of Sustainable Finance and acting as SPOC for all related matters internally (formalizing the APAC strategy, accompanying and supporting Sales and RM in their commercial effort with key clients, etc.).
