Procurement and Facilities Services Branch are seeking a highly motivated Principal Information Analyst join our Procurement Capability team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in collaborating with customers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and lead the implementation of system and analytical initiatives.

We are looking for someone to participate in activities relating to the implementation of Queensland Procurement Solution, the Whole-of-Government contract management system, along with a range of supporting activities within the team.

This temporary opportunity is available from 1 December 2025 to 30 June 2026, unless otherwise determined.

The Perfect Candidate for this Role
Those with an analytical mindset who know how to translate ideas into concepts to assist leadership with prioritisation, as well as anyone with an understanding of or willingness to learn modern reporting and analytical software such as Power BI and Qlik Sense, or service management software like ServiceNow.

Your Responsibilities
As the Principal Information Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop reporting solutions using Qlik Sense and Power BI
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams to identify pain points and work through innovative solutions
  • Participate in government-led procurement initiatives, aligned to Queensland Procurement Policy
  • Work with system analysts in implementing core system changes to SAP and Agresso
  • Documenting requirements for system enhancements.
