Aged Care Support Worker

We're looking for caring and reliable *female Home & Community Care Workers who want regular, permanent weekly shifts and the opportunity to work close to home.

You'll be supporting clients in their homes with tasks such as:

  • Personal care and companionship
  • Domestic assistance and meal preparation
  • Transport to appointments or social outings
  • Encouraging independence and wellbeing

Our shifts are a minimum of 2 hours each, so you can build genuine relationships and provide quality care without feeling rushed.

Monday to Friday (no weekends)

Regular weekly ongoing shifts

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be:

  • Female (*genuine occupational requirement)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written (**genuine occupational requirement)
  • Have experience working in Australia and know your way around Melbourne
  • Available from 8am onwards, at least 2–3 weekdays (Monday–Friday)
  • Living locally to Dandenong, Keysborough, Cheltenham, or Frankston areas
  • Willing to drive a reasonable distance between clients

You must also have:

  • A valid Australian driver's licence
  • Your own reliable car
  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • (Optional but desirable) Experience or qualifications in aged care, nursing, or community support

*The role may on occasion provide personal intimate care to female clients who for religious or cultural reasons require a female carer.

**Ability to communicate fluently in English is required to effectively support clients with hearing difficulties or dementia.

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
