We're looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for IT support who wants to build on their technical skills in a down to earth, friendly and respected function.

You'll be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, providing level 2 technical support to our offices across Australia and New Zealand. This role offers hands on exposure to enterprise level systems, applications, and hardware, along with a focus on continual improvement and innovation in IT service delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Be a key escalation point for technical issues, supporting staff across multiple sites.
  • Manage and resolve IT support requests via our helpdesk system within SLA timeframes.
  • Support and maintain Windows based desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and AV systems.
  • Install, configure, and profile devices for corporate use.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 apps, particularly Teams and SharePoint.
  • Set up, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms and video conferencing systems.
  • Maintain and manage Active Directory, Exchange and Intune environments.
  • Work with third-party vendors to ensure smooth service and timely support.
  • Partner with the IT Service Delivery Manager to implement process improvements and enhance user experience.
  • Document technical procedures, fixes and support processes for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in a rotating roster for paid after-hours on-call support (1 week of every month)

What we're looking for:

  • IT quafications such as a Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g. Microsoft, ITIL) are desirable.
  • Some prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Keen interest in developing a career in IT.
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week between the hours of 8am - 5pm
  • Understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 applications (particularly Teams and SharePoint), Microsoft 365 / Exchange admin portal, Intune, and Remote Desktop Services.
  • Experience supporting video conferencing systems, especially Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and client facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions in a clear, approachable way.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude toward team and cross functional work.
  • A passion for continual improvement and a willingness to contribute ideas that improve processes and service delivery.
  • Ability to participate in a rotating roster for paid after-hours on-call support (1 week every month)
