Our Project Officers are instrumental in supporting our colleagues to deliver projects on time and in scope. These roles are varied and challenging where you will be supporting multiple projects, no two of which are the same.

Who we are

Healthy North Coast (HNC) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation committed to improving the health of our North Coast communities through quality primary health care. We proudly deliver the Primary Health Network (PHN) Program across the stunning north coast region from Tweed Heads to Port Macquarie across Githabul, Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Birpai and Yaegl lands. Our goals are to:

  • improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for people, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes
  • improve the coordination of health services and increasing access and quality support for people

About You

You will have:

  • previous project knowledge experience with the willingness to learn HNC's approach to project planning, implementing, reporting and coordinating projects
  • the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • experience using, or ability to quickly become proficient in project management software
  • excellent written communication skills including the ability to write and review documents to a high standard
  • exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport with a wide range of stakeholders and to speak clearly and confidently in meetings and forums
  • experience in working collaboratively and understanding of own strengths and skills for effective team
  • knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles
  • post-secondary qualification in contract management, procurement, business management or a related field desirable  and or equivalent experience
