PARX Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of warehouse and stores operations, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and accuracy. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility and supporting our manufacturing processes. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the playground equipment manufacturing sector and those possessing advanced welding skills.

Key Responsibilities


•Perform loading, unloading, and material handling tasks for both transport and manufacturing sectors.


•Efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling.


•Prepare goods for dispatch, adhering to all relevant procedures and quality standards.


•Perform welding, painting, surface preparation, and fabrication of metal products, demonstrating proficiency beyond basic skills.


•Operate safely and effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including the handling of B-double trucks.


•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Qualifications


•Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and stores operations and factory support.


•Demonstrated expertise in loading, unloading, and material handling.


•Proven ability in picking, packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.


•Advanced welding skills and experience with surface preparation and fabrication of metal products are highly desirable.


•Prior experience in the playground equipment manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.


•Strong understanding and commitment to safety protocols in a warehouse setting.


•Ability to operate heavy vehicles, including B-double trucks, safely and efficiently.


•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Australian tickets & qualifications to be considered:


•Forklift License (LF Class): Essential for operating forklifts within the warehouse.


•Multi-Combination (MC) Driver's Licence: Required for handling B-double trucks.


•Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (or equivalent): Highly regarded, demonstrating advanced welding and fabrication proficiency.


•High Risk Work Licence: May be required for specific tasks.
