Strategically located on the Liverpool Plains of NSW, one hour west of Tamworth, JBS Australia's Caroona Feedlot employs approximately 50 people and includes a dryland and irrigation farming operation. With a licensed capacity of 28,000 head, access to an extensive network of quality cattle and ideally placed between the Riverina & Beef City plants, Caroona is a vital asset in the supply of grain fed cattle for both the JBS Queensland and New South Wales based processing facilities. The farm supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.

About the Role

JBS Caroona are recruiting a detail orientated Administration Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity (Monday to Friday). This supporting position is critical to the successful operations of our feedlot.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and compiling daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Managing all payables and receivables utilising the SAP Accounts System
  • Kronos payroll system entry
  • Weighbridge operations and maintaining compliance for all incoming and outgoing commodities, including grain testing
  • Providing general admin support to the operational teams including data management as required

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar Admin role advantageous
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel essential as well as general computer literacy/troubleshooting skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • High levels of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task to meet deadlines
