We currently have a great position available through our expanding Locksmith & Security Company located in Redcliffe. We service all aspects of domestic, commercial, electronic, security, safes and automotive work. Experience in all of these fields is not mandatory but the willingness to learn is. We are a growing company that strives to have an enjoyable and productive workplace where all employees can work at their best potential. 3rd and 4th year apprentices can apply.
LOCKSMITH POSITION:
We need a general "all-rounder" with security experience to join our team. We have an exciting new position available to be a part of a great workplace. This is a full-time position for a qualified and experienced Locksmith who is willing to work in the shop and also on the road providing locksmith and security service, depending on the work load. This position is available now. We offer an after-hours emergency service that is a good opportunity for our employees to earn more.
Required Skills & Attributes:
• Ability to learn and implement new ways of working and to adopt new systems
• Ability to switch tasks without frustration
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential
• Computer literate and fast learner with new programs
• Confidence with liaising with customers on the phone and in person discussing products
• Flexible, reliable and well presented
• Friendly, mature and approachable manner
• Good judgement and problem solving ability
• Great communication skills with a strong focus on sales and customer service
• Organisational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision & as part of a team
Candidates must have the following:
• Experienced Locksmith - Security installation experience
• Prepared to undergo Police clearance check and fingerprinting
• Valid current manual QLD Driver's licence
• Security Installer Licence (preferred but not compulsory)
• Well-presented and polite
• Hard working and self-motivated
• Diagnostic, troubleshooting experience and problem solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, good written, spoken communication and IT skills
POSITION INCLUDES:
• A work vehicle, phone reimbursement, tools and uniforms are provided
• Great working conditions in a supportive and friendly team environment
• In addition to a competitive wage, potential of on-call rotation roster including generous rates
• Normal trading hours are Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4.30pm (some overtime may be required)

• Salary package of above award is negotiable based on skills, experience and qualifications.
