Our Client:

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Revenue Services Team as a Revenue Officer – PPL & Billing Team. This position supports accurate and timely billing processes in line with internal procedures and key performance targets.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Accounts Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Services Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and correctly classifying patients with eligible private health insurance or third-party cover
  • Encouraging private inpatients to utilise their private health cover and advising them of their rights and responsibilities
  • Confirming patient cover with health funds and determining out-of-pocket costs
  • Processing billing transactions accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner in line with established policies and procedures
  • Liaising with clinical areas and medical staff to confirm correct patient classification (Private, Medicare Ineligible, Compensable)
  • Ensuring all compensable claims are completed correctly and submitted appropriately

About You:

You're a committed team player who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. To be successful, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in patient liaison, billing or related administrative roles in healthcare
  • Proven excellence in customer service in a high-volume setting
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team
  • A personal alignment with values such as care, integrity, excellence, and collaboration
