About the Role

An engaging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join our Insurance & Health team in Brisbane. You'll work with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Stewart Boland – principal. Duties of this role will include:

• reviewing and summarising records, reports and disclosure;
• preparing lists of documents;
• preparing briefs to Counsel;
• drafting court documents, letters of instruction to experts (liability and medical)
• data entry;
• managing a variety of tasks between various fee-earners;
• managing and maintaining filing systems;
• managing priorities and workflow;
• adhering to client standards and KPIs;
• conducting legal research and analysis; and
• additional adhoc tasks.

About You

• previous experience as a paralegal (ideally in the CTP space)
• you have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting a talented and dynamic team;
• you have proven ability to meet daily chargeable hour targets;
• you have exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
• you have strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• you are adaptable in a fast-paced environment; and
• you have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
