About the Role
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a EL1 Salesforce Technical Manager
This is a long-term 12-month contract role with long-term extension options available if required, located at our client's Canberra office and roles are open to candidate located anywhere in Australia.

Job Details:
We are seeking highly-skilled and energetic Salesforce Technical Manager to join the company. This exciting opportunity will have you working as part of a dynamic and passionate team committed to delivering a better services.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Provide technical and delivery leadership for critical enterprise production systems.
- Provide architectural and solution design guidance to technical resources, with an emphasis on non-functional requirements such as system performance and scalability, security, and error-handling/recoverability.
- Lead a range of responsibilities associated with ownership of a production system (for example software development, system monitoring, backup & restore, system security, major incident management, audit and compliance).
- Manage and mentor a range of technical resources at varying capability levels, fostering a positive team culture and ensuring continued learning and development of team members.
- Monitor system health and performance and proactively address errors, bottlenecks or capacity issues.
- Proactively identify, plan, and deliver continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Provide status reporting, briefs, and other artefacts to senior executive.
- Process development, documentation and implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure successful delivery of timelines and removal of blockers.
Essential criteria
1. A demonstrated technical, hands-on background in Salesforce solution design and software development.
2. Experience leading or having ownership of enterprise grade production systems, including all associated responsibilities (for example software development, system monitoring, backup & restore, system security, major incident management, audit and compliance).
3. Demonstrated experience in Salesforce Omnistudio (Vlocity).
4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues and topics to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Experience in helping build team capability, establishing/refining and influencing processes/practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens and ability to obtain security clearance.
