The Little Unicorn on Honeysuckle is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to lead our brand-new Preschool Prep Program, launching January 2026. This exciting program will be developed over the next three months in collaboration with our team and community.

About the Role

  • Position: Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)
  • Program: Preschool Prep – children in the year prior to school
  • Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing
  • Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm 5 days per week
  • Guaranteed Leave 1 week each school holidays and 3 weeks over Christmas

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a high-quality transition-to-school program, ensuring children are confident and ready for their next learning journey.
  • Build strong community connections to enrich children's learning and sense of belonging.
  • Work closely with an educational assistant to plan, implement and reflect on the curriculum.
  • Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations.

About You

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
  • Passion for creating engaging, community-focused learning experiences.
