About the role

Cardiff Busy Bee Preschool is seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Educator to join our dynamic team on a full-time or part time basis. As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners in our vibrant Cardiff South, NSW location.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan, implement and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children aged 3-5 years
2. Observe, document and assess children's learning and development to inform curriculum planning
3. Foster positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
4. Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment that complies with all relevant regulations and standards
5. Collaborate with the teaching team to continuously improve our program and practices
6. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification. We will consider a certificate 3 who is willing to enrol in the Diploma course
2. Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Educator in an early childhood setting preferred but not essential
3. Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
5. A genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of young children
6. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
7. Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certifications
8. Working with Children Check (NSW)
