This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.
The Position
In this role, you will be Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and support of IT systems, including desktops, servers, software applications and basic network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily maintenance and support of Windows server.
- Maintain Local and Wide Area Network.
- Maintain data backups.
- Maintain asset inventory for all hardware and software applications
- Implement and maintain systems/network security measures.
- Monitor server logs and systems/network performance.
- Apply Operating System updates, application software updates and configuration changes.
- Hardware acquisitions (testing, selection, ordering, set to work).
- General support to the IT Division as required

Our Ideal Candidate:
- Good knowledge and experience with both Windows and Linux in the enterprise.
- Familiarity with supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, DNS, DHCP and TCP (Linux desirable).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP and network security.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively to a diverse skilled audience.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Eligibility
- An Australian Citizen;
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Baseline / Negative Vetting 1 / Negative Vetting 2.
