This has resulted in the creation of a highly modular and scalable product suite, which have become integral to a wide range of critical Defence capabilities.

The Position

In this role, you will be Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and support of IT systems, including desktops, servers, software applications and basic network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily maintenance and support of Windows server.
• Maintain Local and Wide Area Network.
• Maintain data backups.
• Maintain asset inventory for all hardware and software applications
• Implement and maintain systems/network security measures.
• Monitor server logs and systems/network performance.
• Apply Operating System updates, application software updates and configuration changes.
• Hardware acquisitions (testing, selection, ordering, set to work).
• General support to the IT Division as required

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Good knowledge and experience with both Windows and Linux in the enterprise.
• Familiarity with supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 10/11, DNS, DHCP and TCP (Linux desirable).
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP and network security.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively to a diverse skilled audience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Eligibility

• An Australian Citizen;
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Baseline / Negative Vetting 1 / Negative Vetting 2.
