Ausure Building Group is a family-owned construction company specialising in residential insurance repairs across South East Queensland, from the Sunshine Coast to South Brisbane.

We take pride in our quality workmanship, professionalism, and clear communication, and we're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to manage our business's accounts from our Narangba office.

Please note: This is an on-site role (not work-from-home).

About the Role

This is a part-time position (16 hours per week) that involves administrating all aspects of accounts payable and receivable for the business.

The role is suited to someone confident managing all aspects of financial administration and tax obligations for the business, while maintaining a high level of accuracy, communication, and professionalism.

You'll report directly to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and prepare monthly reporting
  • Process purchase orders, manage supplier accounts, and maintain financial accuracy in Xero
  • Manage supplier compliance, ensuring all insurances and licences remain current
  • Support administration, quoting, scheduling, and coordination for the office and between the site team, clients, and insurers

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar account administrator role
  • Proficient in Xero and experienced or qualified bookkeeper
  • Time and project management and organisational skills, with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
  • High level of computer literacy skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
