About The Role

Are you a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer passionate about implementing robust security solutions and safeguarding diverse client environments? Our Managed Service Provider (MSP) is looking for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to build, deploy, and maintain strong security postures for our valued customers.

In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in bringing security designs to life. You'll work directly with various technologies, ensuring seamless integration and effective protection against evolving cyber threats. What You'll Do

  • Implement and deploy enterprise-class security solutions for multiple clients.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot a variety of security technologies across client infrastructures.
  • Work closely with Cyber Security Architects to translate security designs into practical implementations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to security solution deployments.
  • Provide technical support and expertise for security systems to both clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to ensure effective protection.
  • Ensure deployed security solutions align with client business objectives and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer or similar technical security role, preferably within an MSP or IT services environment.
  • Strong, practical experience with the Essential 8 mitigation strategies and their implementation.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing security technologies (e.g., firewalls, EDR, SIEM, identity and access management solutions).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security features and configurations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and clear technical communication.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200/SC-300, or equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., Azure Security Center, AWS Security Hub).
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001 standards and security frameworks.
  • Experience in responding to security incidents and conducting basic forensic analysis.
