Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ manufactures cardboard box packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy to meet the needs of its customers with a focus on sustainability and innovation. We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Supervisor to join the team at our Revesby site.

The key focus of this role will be to:

  • Lead and coordinate the production activities of the site to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
  • Manage teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Oversee the production planning process to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies
  • Ensuring that SOPs are being followed through regular checks
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure accessibility by employees, and provide a satisfactory level of supervision
  • Ensure an open, direct and with respect communication is practiced across the site
  • Drive a safety-first culture and achieve outperformance against all safety targets

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

  • Experience in overseeing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels
  • Well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members
  • Experience leading/ supervising teams on a unionized site
  • Organisational skills - influencing, problem solving, strong project management and time management skills, decision making, goal setting, and cost management
  • Prior experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment
