THE ROLE In this Full-Time role as Housekeeping Supervisor, you will supervise and mentor our frontline housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company standards. ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or a similar role in the hospitality industry;
- Relevant qualifications in hotel services, hospitality or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices, with demonstrated experience cleaning different surfaces with various cleaning equipment and machinery;
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team;
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards;
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people;
- Experience with rostering, supervising and training staff;
- Time management and organisational skills;
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Opera PMS;
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as needed; and
- Physical stamina and capability to safely perform manual handling and repetitive tasks.
