About the role

Are you an experienced Leasing Consultant looking to join a leading property management company? G.P.Yinson' is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team in Camberwell, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end leasing process, from marketing properties to securing quality tenants.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively market and promote residential properties to prospective tenants
  2. Arrange and conduct property inspections, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all attendees
  3. Assess tenant applications, perform reference and credit checks, and make recommendations on the most suitable candidates
  4. Negotiate and prepare tenancy agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  5. Maintain regular communication with landlords and tenants, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
  6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our leasing processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. At least 1 year' experience in a leasing or property management role, preferably within the residential sector
  2. Strong customer service and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the capacity to multitask and prioritise effectively
  4. Sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation
  5. Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office applications
  6. A positive, proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
