About the role

Prestige Homes and granny flats is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team in Mandurah, WA. As a full-time Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all construction activities on site, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard and in accordance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

What you'll be doing

  1. Effectively manage and supervise a team of tradespeople, subcontractors and labourers on construction sites
  2. Oversee all on-site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, quality control and project progress monitoring
  3. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments and toolbox talks as required
  4. Liaise with clients, architects and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction process
  5. Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets and timelines
  6. Collaborate with the project management team to identify and implement process improvements
  7. Hands on site supervisor to complete and fix any minor issues on site

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or Construction Foreperson in the residential/commercial construction industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
  3. experience in steel frame construction
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail
  6. Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, regulations and safety standards
  7. Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  8. Relevant construction qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Building and Construction
