Store Person

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Store / Warehouse Person. We are looking for a purpose driven individual to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will have meticulous organisational skills, strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. The primary responsibilities of the role are to ensure the accurate and timely receiving and allocation of parts and materials internally to the manufacturing and fitting departments of the business.

Roster:

Monday – Friday

7am – 3.30pm

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised and have excellent time management skills.

This role reports directly to the Fitting Department  Manager and is required to work seamlessly with the Operations Department.

• Highly organised
• Current Forklift Licenece
• Previous store / warehouse experience highly desired)
• Mechanical or related trade background (highly desired)
• Sound Computer knowledge
• LEAN / KANBAN knowledge (highly desired)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work unsupervised and additionally in a team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily activities of procurement.
• Scheduling the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
• Monitoring and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, evaluating, and approving products.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
• Despatch and receiving of goods.
• Processing of customer orders.
• Maintaining Store / stock levels and inventories.
• Loading and unloading of deliveries (Fork licence needed, or they can do a course and we can pay for this after probation period)
