About the Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Service Manager to lead our Rathmines service. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and fostering strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and educational experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), Child Safe Standards, and Active OOSH policies and procedures.
  • Manage service operations.
  • Build positive relationships with families, the school community, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the growth and success of the service.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children and creating a positive, safe environment.
  • A strong leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experienced in managing an OOSH or childcare service.
  • Knowledgeable about the NQF, ACECQA requirements, and relevant legislation.

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards) – or equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Accredited Child Protection training.
  • Previous leadership experience in an OOSH or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
