Service Coordinator/ Nominated Supervisor

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Coordinator to lead our team in providing a stimulating, creative and safe environment for children. The Coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Coordinator, Educational Leader, casual and permanent staff and Parent run management committee and will be the nominated supervisor at Adamstown OOSH.

This full-time maternity leave position includes of 38 hours per week is made up of face-to-face shifts, along with administration hours.

**Required skills and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in teaching or related discipline (such as diploma in Out of School Hours Care/Early Childhood Studies) or significant experience managing an OSHC service
- Knowledge and experience of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place and National Law and Regulations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge in providing high quality educational programs and menus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage well with the range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to work well with a team
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate, certified Asthma and Anaphylaxis training or willingness to obtain
- Recently certified Child Protection Training or willingness to undertake
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and age appropriate management techniques
- A current Working with Children Check and NSW Police Record
- Facilitate Committee decision making on strategic policy, financial, educational, regulatory, and staffing, business development and operational issues.
- Deliver service on budget and contribute to budget development
