The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the Child Health Service to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice, patient centred care within a Healthcare team and is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient human, material and financial resource management.

About The Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) inaccordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values .

You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
