Garden City Plastics is a successful, family-owned company that manufactures a wide range of products through thermoforming, injection moulding, and blow moulding.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator/Supervisor to join our afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm), running our thermoforming and sheet extrusion lines at our Heatherton site.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Operating, troubleshooting, and completing tool changes on thermoforming lines.
  • Running extrusion lines to produce HIPS and some PE sheet.
  • Supporting production quality and efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience operating thermoforming lines (experience with an ILLIG RDKP 72 or similar highly regarded).
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, self-motivated approach to work.
