Hotel Manager

This venue is a local favourite, known for great food and drinks offering, and premium quality rooms. The hotel itself contains 55 rooms with an attached restaurant and bar. The business is sustained by strong support from senior management, well-established systems, and a loyal customer base of both locals and returning clients.
The RoleAs the Hotel Manager overseeing venue operations, you'll be responsible for maintaining high service standards, driving revenue, managing costs, and leading a diverse team. This is a hands-on leadership role involving fast-paced service and mentoring of employees. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, compliance, staffing, front of house monitoring, and monitoring of restaurant activities.
Preferred skills and experience- Previous experience in a hospitality management role
- Able to understand and manage rostering, stock, and cost control
- Able to consistently and clearly communicate with staff, customers and employers
- Excellent leadership skills in delivering satisfactory customer experiences
- Strong knowledge of licensing, compliance, and OH&S requirements. Also the candidate needs to be able to ensure that these requirements are met.
