A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.

What you'll be doing…

The Safety Support Specialist role aims to deliver top-tier specialist safety support to the Safety Systems and Operations Support team at Brisbane's Head Office. This position is crucial for enhancing productivity by implementing and managing systems and processes that aid the General Manager, Safety Systems, and Operations Support.

In addition, you will be an active participant in governance forums, disseminating safety-related information, and compiling safety data in response to external requests. You will be responsible for:

  • Management of Safety related distribution lists

  • Provide administration support in the event of Crisis Management Centre activation.
  • Manage CEO, ELT, and SSOS Management reports.
  • Medical bookings for DAME and general staff-related internal Doctor appointments.
  • Triaging of guest relations and team member complaints and coordination of response.
  • Participate in consultation of WHS matters as related to your working environment.

What you need to be successful:

  • Previous experience working with highly confidential information.
  • Aviation industry experience or safety experience (desirable).
  • Experience in maintaining systems and documentation in accordance.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with managers, executives and staff to achieve business outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):

  • Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year)
  • One of Brisbane's most admired head office locations, with South Bank train station, a supermarket, pharmacy, and lunch options downstairs plus a 5-minute walk to the Busway, a rooftop restaurant and onsite gym (with a low membership fee) and South Bank Parklands just across the road
  • Discounts on travel insurance, lounge membership, car hire, accommodation, and experiences worldwide
  • Cheaper hospitality, retail, technology, beauty and wellness services
  • A comprehensive Employee Assistance Program, which offers confidential coaching and support from qualified professionals for all aspects of life – physical, mental, social and financial
