Senior Workplace Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to lead our team of inspectors in promoting a safer work environment for Queensland workers and employers.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve work health and safety, electrical safety, and workers' compensation performance
  • Educate industry sectors on Work Health & Safety legislations through workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one consultations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and enforce breaches of legislation, ensuring compliance within regulatory frameworks
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional stakeholder engagement, time management, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of inspectors
  • Identifying and enforcing breaches of legislation
  • Educating industry sectors on Work Health & Safety legislations
  • Working autonomously and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Being adaptable and assisting in leading significant workplace change
