About the Role:

Join the First Year College as a passionate and dedicated Teaching-Focused Academic (Early Childhood). This role provides an exciting opportunity to enhance the learning experiences of first-year students and to drive innovative, student-centred teaching practices that support academic success and a smooth transition into university study.

TFAA3 $85,325 - TFAA6 $96,810 pro rata per annum (+17% super). This is a full time (1.0 FTE), continuing appointment commencing Jan/Feb 2026

We want to hear from you if you:

  • have completed a Bachelor Degree in Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood, and have evidence of current knowledge and substantial experience in the area of early childhood education
  • are experienced in higher education teaching in the area of education, particularly in early childhood 
  • are flexible and adaptable
  • are passionate about teaching first year university students
  • have a strong passion for teaching and a desire for continuous improvement and development in student learning
