Job Description
An opportunity has risen for an experienced and hands on Human Resources (HR) Advisor to join our Perth Branch in WA. This role will partner up with all staff and Management to provide generalist assistance and carry out a variety of human resources functions within our Perth Branch whilst also assisting other branches nationally as required.
Reporting to the HR Manager in Melbourne, this position will assist with building a professional and motivated workforce that is committed to the organisation's strategic plan and values, and complies with Company policies and procedures. This is a generalist role and all areas of HR will be included as part of the role but the key focus will be on recruitment, performance development, business partnering and providing support / advice to staff and Management.
Duties

Daily generalist HR functions in line with Company policies and procedures

Assist the HR department in the implementation of a range of HR initiatives in the branch

Build relationships with all stakeholders of the branch and wider organisation to assist with HR initiatives aimed to continually improve the overall employee engagement

Assist in administration of the Human Resources Information System – ELMO

Assist with the management of end to end recruitment functions

Assist with the coordination and management of the induction process for employees

Assist with the administration of WorkCover claims and private injury management (Return to Work)

General administrative duties i.e. generating contract and letters of offer for new starters

Providing sound advice to all stakeholders on HR related matters based on professional knowledge, legislation and assistance from the HR Department
Skills and Experience
-
Tertiary or any other relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management or relevant qualification / similar

3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist role or similar

Has an energetic and bubbly personality and is passionate about all things HR and people
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation

Ability to provide a high standard of administrative skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail

Be a team player who can work without supervision, take initiative and have a can do attitude
