Sous Chef

Kals on Cahill is seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. Our café is a beautiful and welcoming space in the heart of Wolli Creek, known for its fresh food, specialty coffee, and warm atmosphere.

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with our Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold quality standards, and bring creativity to our seasonal menu.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Cook in a busy café or restaurant
• Strong skills in food preparation, plating, and kitchen management
• Ability to lead and support the kitchen team with professionalism
• Knowledge of food safety standards and excellent attention to detail
• A passion for fresh, high-quality food and presentation

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
