Your new role

Are you financially minded and possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail? The Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a dependable and dedicated individual to join the Accounts Payable team.

In this role you will undertake processing and distribution of tax invoices and credit notes, process corporate purchase cards, as well as a variety of other Accounts Payable functions.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable environment, with proficiency in financial software programs and large corporate databases.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities, having a focus on quality customer service.
  • Time management, planning and organisational skills with proven ability to complete tasks efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy.
