Senior ChatGPT system engineer

Role Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Perth, WA

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6-month contract (with high potential extension)

Working Flexibility: Hybrid engagement – 2/3 days onsite

We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support NTT Data Perth, with a strong focus on Chat GPT and Microsoft Copilot technologies. This role blends cloud administration, SaaS platform support, and AI agent governance within the Microsoft ecosystem. You'll work closely with Sydney-based teams and contribute to the broader Chat GPT Centre of Excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of engineering expertise, API integration knowledge, and Microsoft 365/Power Platform experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Chat GPT and Copilot engineering initiatives within NTT Perth.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and SaaS platforms in a cloud environment.
• Assist with API integrations and key generation for secure connectivity.
• Collaborate with Sydney-based teams on governance and lifecycle of AI agents.
• Operate with change processes and system updates under supervision.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for engineering tasks.
• Liaise with Microsoft and internal stakeholders on platform enhancements.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Systems Engineering or similar technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud administration.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and integration workflows.
• Basic understanding of APIs and key management.
• Exposure to Power Platform and Copilot Studio (highly regarded).
• Proven ability to work in hybrid teams and cross-functional squads.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
