Our WA Power Systems team, the largest in the state, is recognised for delivering high-impact work with AEMO, network service providers, renewable developers, and the heavy industrial and resources sectors. From the SWIS and NWIS to complex industrial networks across Australia, you'll collaborate with 50+ Power Systems Engineers across the WA and Kuala Lumpur teams, contributing to projects that shape the future of clean, reliable energy.

What You'll Do:

Depending on your experience, you'll contribute to or lead:

  • Advanced modelling and simulation (static, dynamic, EMT studies)
  • Power system studies for grid connections, renewable integration and mining infrastructure.
  • Arc-flash studies, site-wide audits, and risk-based assessments.
  • High voltage submissions and compliance reviews, including support for mining and industrial clients.
  • Model validation, compliance analysis, and performance assessments
  • Control and protection system design for utility and renewable projects
  • Project delivery, stakeholder engagement, and resource management
  • Mentoring and technical leadership within a collaborative team


What You'll Bring

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience (more for Lead Engineer)
  • Proficiency with key industry software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, SMK PTW)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for power systems and innovation

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Postgraduate qualifications
  • Python coding skills; FORTRAN knowledge a plus
  • CPEng or NER registration
  • Protection and earthing systems experience (incl. CDEGS)
  • R2 testing or HV commissioning experience
  • Participation in industry research or technical forums

Successful candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and provide a police clearance.
