About the role and team

We have an opportunity for a Service Clerk to join our Office Services team based in our Melbourne office. This role provides a high level of customer service and support to partners and employees within the firm.

This is a great entry level role for someone looking for a career in a law firm.

You will be involved in:

  • opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail;
  • coordinating and processing outgoing mail;
  • attending to court filing;
  • assist in setting up for firm events and seminars when needed;
  • booking couriers;
  • daily banking;
  • photocopying, scanning and binding documents;
  • cleaning of kitchens;
  • backup to Reception and Switchboard; and
  • delivering legal documents to Chambers and the Courts.

About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • qualification in either a business or legal administration course;
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • team player with flexible approach;
  • reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach;
  • ability to work under pressure during peak times; and
  • strong IT skills.
